Maveon today announced Día de Muertos: La Luz de los Recuerdos, a limited event opening on 11 October at 16:00 CEST. It is the first Maveon event built around an interactive 3D room, where memory, light and small acts of care gradually form a personal ofrenda.
The experience unfolds inside La casa de los recuerdos, a cinematic 3D room created specifically for this event. The room begins quietly. As quests are completed, flowers, candles, colour and meaningful details appear, turning participation into a composition that feels personal without asking anyone to share more than they want to.
Three chapters of remembrance
The main journey opens in three chapters. Each new chapter adds quests, discoveries and another layer to the room, while everything already available remains open until new event progress closes.
- La Ofrenda. Opens 11 October at 16:00 CEST. Begin with one moment, one candle and a place for what matters.
- Entre Recuerdos. Opens 18 October at 16:00 CEST. Connect then and now through places, traditions and the colours you choose for the room.
- La Luz que Queda. Opens 25 October at 16:00 CET. Bring the light together, choose a final arrangement and keep the room you have made.
The finale opens on 1 November at 16:00 CET, bringing each participant's choices into a personal final composition and a cinematic closing sequence.
A room shaped by participation
The event brings together Maveon memories, visits, notes, photographs and tags. It also includes a room story, a light puzzle, a papel picado designer and six optional discoveries for anyone who wants to look more closely. Participation can remain entirely symbolic. No one needs to name someone who has died, upload a personal photograph or describe a loss.
Six limited keepsakes
Six profile rewards unlock across the 18 main quests. Each marks a new stage in the journey and remains attached to the participant's Maveon profile after it is earned.

Rooted in remembrance
Día de Muertos honours the memory of people who have died. Flowers, candlelight, food, meaningful objects and papel picado appear in many Mexican traditions, but their use and meaning vary between families, communities and regions.
