Introducing Refined.

Maveon introduces Refined today. Instead of one big new feature, it brings a set of careful changes you can feel throughout the app: less waiting, less background work and a lighter, steadier Maveon from the first screen to the last memory.

Refined touches every stage of a trip, from finding a place and building a plan to searching for a flight and saving what happened along the way. It also improves accessibility, translations and privacy.

More of the moment, less of the wait

The biggest gains are in the places people use most. Opening a Plan and linking saved visits now takes about 29% of the time it used to.

• Plans, 3.5× faster. Opening a Plan and linking saved visits.
• Events, 9× faster. Challenge checks, with event date calculations now needing almost no work at all.
• Home, 3.7× faster. Recommendation scoring, while Trending does up to 4× less work when Home first opens.
• Plan dates, 10× faster. Plan date ranges now format almost instantly.
• Flights in under a millisecond. Flight searches average under 1 ms, backed by a 13.1% smaller airport database.

Ready when you are

A new option in Settings turns off the launch video, making Maveon appear 43% faster during normal launches. Photos now load at the right size for your screen, with an 80 MB memory cache and a larger 256 MB on-device cache for quicker revisits.

Non-essential tasks now wait until the first screen appears. Home redraws less, and Journey, chats, conversations and notifications update more efficiently. Live Activities and notifications refresh only when relevant trip details or settings change, and only the widgets that are affected update.

Lighter on your phone

The installed app is 45% smaller, going from 396.1 MB to 218.4 MB. That frees up 177.7 MB for the photos and memories that matter.

Your journey, never on pause

Changes now save quietly in the background, even when the connection doesn't cooperate. Trips, visits, flights, favorites, chats and Journey Vault changes save without interrupting you. Favorites, flights, visits, countdowns and notification settings made offline are kept safely and sent automatically once you're back online.

Requests are also more resilient. Identical requests are combined, safe requests can retry after brief connection issues and AI planning has more time to finish. Switching accounts or signing out now refreshes personal content more consistently, from Inbox and friends activity to Journey Vault and countdowns.

Thoughtful in every corner

• Accessibility. VoiceOver labels now cover 71 icon-only controls, and Reduce Motion stops all 106 continuous and repeating animations across the app.
• Languages. Translation fixes for Japanese, Portuguese and Swedish join improvements across supported languages, with more of Maveon translated than before.
• Privacy and security. App data, push notifications and photo loading have stronger protections, and shared visit and trip invitations now give clear feedback when an action can't be completed.
• Polish. Bug fixes, improved stability and a smoother experience overall.
