Only with the live camera.
Stamps are made right where you're standing, never from your photo library.
With Stamps, every place you visit becomes a real postage stamp. Perforated edges, the city, the country, the year, its own serial number and a postmark. Made on the spot with your camera, collected in your own Stamp Album.

Frame what you want on your stamp
01Make a stamp where you are
Open the camera and you'll see a stamp-shaped viewfinder. Frame what you want on your stamp and take the photo. The frame freezes, the stamp is punched out of the scene, lifts off, settles in front of you, and its lettering prints on.
Stamps are made right where you're standing, never from your photo library.
The city and country are found automatically. You don't need to type anything.
Because of that, every stamp in your album is proof you really went.
02Design it your way
Before you postmark your stamp, pick a style and a frame. With Pro, your subject can even break out of the picture. Try it on this one from Kyoto.
Took part in Día de Muertos? The Marigold frame is waiting for you, free and yours to keep.
03Your Stamp Album
All your stamps, mounted in a dark album with a soft glow of Maveon's colours. See how many you've collected and from how many countries. Open any stamp to see exactly where and when you made it, its number and its status.
04Free stamps, every month
You start with free stamps, and new ones arrive on the 1st of every month. Your free balance always sits at the top of the album. Tap it to see what you have left, when the next ones arrive and how it all works.
05Never lose the moment
Your stamp is still made, as a concept, kept with the exact place and time you were there. Postmark it later with new free stamps, pick which concepts get your new ones, or postmark them all at once with Pro.
06Part of your Journey
Every stamp finds its place in Journey: on your map, in your chapters, between your memories and in your Diary.
Your stamps appear on the Journey map, right where you made them.
Each chapter shows the stamps you made along the way.
They sit right between your photos, as real little stamps.
Stamps are part of your timeline, on the day you made them.
When a stamp is your newest moment, Journey shows it as your "Last stop".
07Always within reach

12Questions
Free stamps, resets, concepts and what Pro changes, in plain words.
Free stamps
You start with 10 free stamps. On the 1st of every month, 5 more are added to your balance. Your balance is always at the top of your Stamp Album: tap it to see how many you have left and when the next ones arrive.
On the 1st of every month at 16:00, Amsterdam time. Want to know the moment they land? Turn on New free stamps under Settings → Notifications → Stamps.
Yes, up to 20. Each month's 5 are added on top of what you have left, but your balance never goes above 20, so saving up beyond that gains nothing. Been away for a few months? Every refill you missed is added the next time you open the app, still up to 20.
Every 500 XP you earn adds one extra free stamp. Your XP isn't spent and your level stays exactly where it is. Extra stamps count towards the same maximum of 20: if your balance is already full, that stamp isn't added.
No. You can delete any stamp from your album, but a free stamp you've used doesn't return to your balance.
Making stamps
No. Stamps are made with the live camera, right where you're standing. That's what makes every stamp in your album proof that you really went.
Your location fills in the city and country for you. The shutter works as soon as your place is found. With location access turned off, the camera shows Allow location to make stamps, with a shortcut to Settings.
The city is the one Apple Maps names for where you're standing. The same place means within 100 metres of a stamp you made in the last 24 hours. The camera tells you before you take the photo, and this rule is the same for everyone, Pro included.
When you're out of free stamps, or you already have a free stamp from this city, your stamp is still made, just without a postmark yet. Its place and time are kept. Postmark it later with new free stamps, or all at once with Pro. A second stamp from the same city can only be postmarked with Pro. Concepts don't expire, and up to 30 can be waiting at once.
Yes. Your stamp is saved right away and syncs as soon as you're back online. If it turns out your free stamps had already run out, it becomes a concept and Maveon lets you know.
Pro
Unlimited stamps with as many per city as you like, every style and frame plus the 3D effect, changing the style of any stamp afterwards, high-resolution export and postmarking all your concepts in one tap. With Pro, your free stamps stay untouched.
Nothing is taken away. Every stamp you made with Pro stays exactly as it is, with its style, frame and 3D effect. From then on, new stamps follow the free rules again, and changing a style afterwards or postmarking a second stamp from the same city needs Pro.
