Introducing Stamps.

Maveon introduces Stamps today, a new way to keep the places you've been. Every place you visit can become a postage stamp of its own, made right where you're standing and kept in a Stamp Album that grows with every trip.

Each stamp carries everything a real one does. The edges are perforated, the city and country are filled in for you, and every stamp gets the year, its own serial number and a postmark with the city and the date.

Frame it, punch it out

Open the camera and a stamp-shaped viewfinder appears. Frame what you want on your stamp and take the photo. The frame freezes, the stamp is punched out of the scene, lifts off and settles in front of you while its lettering prints on.

• Only with the live camera. Stamps are made where you're standing, never from your photo library.
• Your location, found for you. The city and country are filled in automatically, with nothing to type.
• Proof you were really there. Because of that, every stamp in your album shows that you really went.

Make it yours, then postmark it

Before you postmark a stamp, pick a style and a frame. The Classic style and the Standard and Kraft frames are there for everyone, and some medals unlock frames of their own. Vintage, Engraving, Duotone and Halftone, frames like Airmail, Gilded and Noir, and a 3D effect that lets your subject break out over the paper border come with Pro. Took part in Día de Muertos? The Marigold frame is waiting for you, free and yours to keep.

Every stamp gets the spotlight

Your stamps are mounted in a dark album with a soft glow of Maveon's colours. See how many you've collected and from how many countries, and open any stamp to see exactly where and when you made it, its number and its status. The album syncs across your devices.

New stamps in the post

You start with 10 free stamps, and 5 more arrive on the 1st of every month at 16:00, Amsterdam time, up to a balance of 20. Your free balance always sits at the top of the album, with an optional reminder for when the next ones arrive. Every 500 XP you earn adds an extra free stamp too, without ever spending your XP or touching your level. The Stamps FAQ explains exactly how it all works.

Out of stamps? The moment is still yours. Your stamp is made as a concept, kept with the exact place and time you were there, ready to postmark later with new free stamps.

Woven into your Journey

Every stamp finds its place in Journey. Stamps appear on your map right where you made them, in the chapters of every trip and month, between your photos in the filmstrip and in your Diary on the day you made them. When a stamp is your newest moment, Journey shows it as your Last stop.

Share it, keep it, stick it

• Send it like real mail. Share Studio has two new styles: Stamp, on an airmail envelope, and Stamp Album, a whole album page, in Post, Square and Story formats.
• One tap from the camera. A Spotlight card on Home knows where you are, and a quick action on the Maveon icon goes straight to Make a Stamp.
• Real stickers. Turn your stamps into stickers through Studio, postmark and all, at print quality.
• Twelve new medals. Stamps have their own medal family, with XP for your first stamp, every new city and every new country, a Stamp Album accent and a Stamps app icon to unlock.

Collect the places you've been, one keepsake at a time.

Even more with Pro

With free stamps you collect one stamp per city. Pro adds unlimited stamps with as many per city as you like, every style and frame plus the 3D effect, changing the style of any stamp afterwards, high-resolution export and postmarking all your concepts in one tap. For everyone, one stamp per place per day keeps every stamp special, and stamps made offline are saved right away and sync as soon as you're back online.
